Happy Monday everyone!
I'm sitting at my dining room table, Nag Champa is burning, listening to the birds sing, enjoying a cup of coffee...
Looking out my window at the blue skies, the sun shining over the Hollywood sign, I can't help but smile!
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of living in Hollywood...
The Hollywood sign is my reminder that I'm here...I'm doing it...
I'm Living my dreams!
It's a struggle sometimes...
But a good one!
I truly believe, the struggles are a vital part of my growth...
I'd rather have the struggle of going after my dreams & doing what I love than working at a job That doesn't appreciate me, that I don't enjoy, while wondering "What if? Should've...could've...would've..."
Not for me!
Last week was certainly a Yin/Yang kind of week!
What a CRAZY, FUN, and WILD roller coaster ride!
Life tested me in many ways and all at once! Many valuable lessons learned & the good news is SO many wonderful things happened as a result of some choices I made!!!
When one door closes...a LOT more open!
Last week life once again showed me that knowing your worth & knowing what you want in life is necessary in order to accomplish your goals & dreams!
I also learned how important it is to always trust my instinct, stand up for myself, and that sometimes you have to say "NO" and that it's OK to say no...
Doing these things OPENED me up in every way, making room for some really AMAZING opportunities that came to me as a result of all the hard work I've been doing & will continue to do...
Reflecting back on last week...WOW! Here's a taste of what I accomplished...
I got treated with respect and got PAID in every sense of the word, what I deserve to do what I love...
I booked 3 days on Sony Pictures Studio lot working on a SAG feature film...
I had an AMAZING photo shoot with Ashley Eckstein for "Her Universe"...
My t-shirt design that I did for "Her Universe" was announced & is available on HOT TOPIC...
AND I booked a ROCKING last minute gig Co-Hosting (for my friend Leah Cevoli) VH1 Save The Music at The Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood!
I am truly grateful & have a clearer vision of what I want...AND what I don't want!
Looking forward to today!
