Fellow 501st member Regina Layug contacted me asking for our help, she wrote:

"Friends in the Legion, we'd like to ask for your help to raise funds for the victims of tropical storm 'Ondoy' (international name Ketsana) here in the Philippines.

People very badly need food, clothes, medicine, etc., and relief efforts are progressing slowly because there's still so much mud and water in the streets. We're the bad guys who do good. Let's do some more good internationally. Please help, by either donating or spreading the word."
