Topps Star Wars Galaxy 6 Sketch Cards
Working on Topps Star Wars Galaxy 6 was quite a challenge for me....
But as I always say, life is not what happens, it's how you handle it that matters!
My sketch cards were not shipped until December 15th & the deadline was December 31st...
Then a week and a few days go by, no cards, no word, no reply to phone calls and emails & Christmas is around the corner...
My man Randy Martinez received a phone call from a family member a few days before Christmas informing him that my cards had somehow ended up in Ventura County which is over an hour away from where we live!
We drove to Ventura County (on Christmas Eve) to go pick up my cards...That's over an hour each way...
As we had guests at our place on Christmas day, I couldn't get started on my cards until after Christmas...
By the time I got started, I realized I had THREE days to illustrate over 100 sketch cards & meet my deadline!
I knew I could do it, but honestly I was kind of bummed having to rush through this project that I was really looking forward to working on!
Cest La Vie!
I had an idea for this set...
I decided to go for it & still implement my idea! Back in October 2010, I started a series called "SYMBOLS" and I wanted to apply that project to this set...so I did...
I made the most of this project & honestly did the best that I could!
As I only had 3 days to complete this project, I chose my favorite symbols, did some repeats, while making every card unique utilizing a variety of colors...Here are some of my cards...
